Official portal how-tos already own login queries. canada.ca CARM pages do not include EASA Form 1, FAA 8130-3, or AOG examples.

TL;DR. CAD lines still come from invoices and cargo-control data. D17-1-10: air mode code 1; cargo control number is the AWB analogue; invoice number or PO mandatory; time-limit type code 1 = spare parts for aircraft or vessels (15 years, not intended for domestic consumption). That warehouse time-limit code does not classify those parts as heading 8803. Doana’s CARM product page describes preparing data for teams that already file; it does not file with CBSA.

What does D17-1-10 actually say for spares?

CAD lines still come from invoices and cargo-control data. D17-1-10 does not teach Form 1. It does not classify spares as heading 8803 (D17-1-10 PDF).

What that memorandum does say, in the warehouse context:

  • air mode code 1
  • cargo control number is the AWB analogue
  • invoice number or PO mandatory
  • time-limit type code 1 = spare parts for aircraft or vessels (15 years, not intended for domestic consumption)

Invoice completeness: D1-4-1.

CARM is Canadian accounting from 21 Oct 2024. Login how-tos already live on canada.ca. The aviation gap is CAD lines from invoice + AWB + ARC identity, not a shorter form because the aircraft is on ground.

Heading 8803 vs 8807: HS 8803 vs 8807. Packet: AOG customs packet.

Doana’s CARM product page describes preparing data for teams that already file (carm-customs-automation). It does not file with CBSA.
