CDS will not tell you how to fill Form 1. CDS is HMRC’s Customs Declaration Service for import declarations into Great Britain. Completion rules are in UK Trade Tariff Volume 3 (CDS import completion guide). This page is not a CDS login guide.
TL;DR. Two GOV.UK relief tracks sit next to the declaration: Authorised Use (end-use) for civil aircraft and eligible parts, and the airworthiness scheme, which suspends import duty on qualifying parts imported with an ARC and wants the certificate identification number on the free-circulation declaration. Commodity codes are a live tariff question; this project does not freeze 8803 vs 8807 here. UK CAA component-acceptance tables are eligibility to install/accept a tag, not CDS data-element instructions. Doana can extract identifiers for a human pack. It cannot lodge CDS.
Which relief track sits next to the declaration?
Authorised Use (end-use) for civil aircraft and eligible parts: Authorised use — aircraft and their parts. The airworthiness scheme (no authorisation of that kind) suspends import duty on qualifying parts imported with an authorised release certificate; the CDS free-circulation declaration should reference the certificate’s identification number (Airworthiness scheme). Confirm the live equivalent-certificate list on that page. Do not treat Sofema or a marketplace blog as the list.
Commodity codes for aircraft parts and accessories are a live tariff question (Classifying aircraft parts and accessories). Do not freeze 8803 vs 8807 on this page. Use the UK Integrated Online Tariff for the 10-digit code on the day you file. Heading notes: HS 8803 vs 8807.
Are UK CAA tables CDS instructions?
No. UK CAA component-acceptance tables are eligibility to install/accept a tag in the UK system, labelled reference only (UK CAA). They are not the CDS data-element instructions. Issue-date extract: UK CAA component acceptance.
ICS2 is EU security filing (ICS2). CARM is CBSA accounting (CARM). CDS is the UK import declaration. Doana does not file any of the three.
Next
CDS is the GB import declaration. Authorised Use and the airworthiness scheme are different relief tracks. CAA tables are fit/accept eligibility, not CDS instructions. Do not freeze 8803 vs 8807 on this page.
Issue-date tables: UK CAA component acceptance. Packet: AOG customs packet.
Doana can extract Form 1 / 8130-3 identification numbers, invoice lines and AWB refs for a human CDS pack (Form 1 automation). It cannot lodge CDS.
