What is the legal definition?
EASA: issued by a POA holder stating that a product, part or component was manufactured in accordance with approved or not approved design data; the same form is suitable for a maintenance organisation (FAQ 19466, updated 07 May 2015).

Which operational mistakes show up that are not law?
