FAA 8130-3 OCR should return the same box structure as the tag: part number, serial, status in Block 11, remarks in Block 12, and which release block was signed. Map by printed label, since older tags number their blocks differently.

Authorised Release Certificate OCR turns an EASA Form 1 scan into fields. The useful question is which boxes come back, how each value is traced to its page, and what happens when a box cannot be read.

Copying EASA Form 1 Block 11 onto an 8130-3 is how a Part 21 tag picks up REPAIRED. Block 11 is Status/Work.

Search still ranks a 2007 layout PDF as if it were a blank you can photocopy into service. EASA Form 1 is the Authorised Release Certificate (certificat de libération autorisée).

The blank looks simple. The track you are on is not. EASA Form 1 is an Authorised Release Certificate (FAQ 19466). It declares airworthiness of a product, part or appliance.

A CoC in the same PDF folder as a brake assembly does not make it an Authorised Release Certificate. Form 1 is an ARC (FAQ 19466).

A used US repair-station tag does not become European paper because someone stamped “8130-3” on it.

A receiving desk can hold a perfect-looking tag and still reject the line. EASA Form 1 and FAA Form 8130-3 are authorised release / airworthiness approval documents for articles.

Understand how a Doana MCP result becomes application data: status checks, item arrays, confidence, uncertain fields and source review.

Use an assistant to organize aviation document work during AOG operations without turning extraction confidence into a release or clearance decision.
